About Us
Rope Green Farm Day Nursery is set within a farm in the village of Shavington, Cheshire, just a short drive from all major road links including the M6 and A500. The nursery building is a beautifully renovated spacious barn, designed to an impressive specification.
Surrounded by extensive countryside our nursery gives children the space to safely explore the beauty of a rural environment. The nursery, having strong rural connections, makes full use of the 100 acres of private farmland including a small wood and extensive private gardens.
The Journey so Far...
Rope Green Farm Day Nursery was founded by myself, Victoria Dodd in 2009. I am fully qualified and experienced Primary School Teacher with specialism in Early Years and Child Development. As a former working parent with four young children, I understood the difficulty of finding excellent childcare within a warm and homely setting. I was inspired by the family farm and realised this would be an idyllic place for children to thrive and be nurtured. I felt that the farm would offer children a world of learning opportunities that go beyond those normally found in a nursery environment.
